Abandoned Rochester Subway

I'm not sure what it is, but the thought of tunnels running under cities intrigues me, especially when they are relics of a time gone by. I'm not sure how many of you were aware that Rochester once had a subway line. It was the smallest city in the US to have one.

When I ran across the website infiltration.org, I learned all about the old line. There are many other interesting places that have been left behind to gather dust. Check out these links about the old subway system.

Be sure to explore some of the other sites on the Infiltration site. There are a lot of places that are mysteriously awesome, including the old Central Terminal in Buffalo.
